TSPSC board has released new notification for ” TSPSC Assistant Hydrologist Ground Water Department 2016 ”  and for this recruitment only candidates with prescribed educational qualification are allowed for the exam. Start of Online Application : 22-05-2016

Closing of online Application : 10-06-2016

The halltickets for this post will be issued from 21-06-2016 and candidates can download their halltickets from the tspsc website. The examination will be either in Online or Offline because based on the applications received for this post. The Telangana PSC board will decide the mode of the exam.

Examination Pattern for TSPSC Assistant Hydrologist Ground-Water-Dept Notification :

  • Paper 1 & Paper 2 – 300 Marks
  • Interview – 50 Marks
  • Total – 350 Marks


Paper-1 will be Telangana PSC General studies syllabus whereas, Paper 2 will be regarding the core subjects of ” Water resources ” (civil) and there are totally 10 chapters in the exam syllabus.

These ten unit’s will be carrying 300 marks. You will get 150 questions in the paper and each question carries two marks for each. Where as General studies will have 150 questions but each carries only 1 mark.
